Welshman Richard P Jones has spent recent years exploring the digital interface, the “liminal zone”,  the point where the natural and digital world’s collide.   His most recent work, Truth DeQay, focuses of the effect social media algorithms have on society.

Richard works with 3D models & data clouds, video, recorded voice and environmental sound. Chieko Jones, who was instrumental in the project, has made a series of  Truth DeQay prints.

Richard’s work has been exhibited at DOX, Prague, The Smithsonian (Washington) and Sededd Cymru (Welsh Parliament).

Until 2012 Richard worked as a documentary photographer in China and Japan. He has won the National Press Photographers Award (USA), Human Rights Press Awards and has been nominated for the POYi’s (Picture of the Year International) World Understanding Award for work related to China’s One Child Policy.
